Quick take
Compact 25 in ice rod on a solid graphite blank with fast action, built for sensitive jigging under the ice.
This 25-inch medium-power ice rod from 13 Fishing has a fast action and a solid Toray graphite blank. Thin-wire ALPS guides and an Evolve reel seat with a soft-touch finish round it out. It suits ice anglers after walleye, trout or perch with 2 to 6 pound line.
Best for
- Panfish and walleye jigging through holes in winter
- Anglers who want a sensitive fast-action rod for small jigs
- Portable setup for mobile ice fishing
Skip if
- You fish larger waters and need longer reach
- You prefer slower action rods that bend throughout
Strengths
- Solid graphite blank is durable and sensitive
- Fast action rod responds quickly to subtle strikes
