Quick take
A durable baitcasting combo built specifically for catfish, with strong drag for fighting large bottom-feeding fish.
This ready-to-fish baitcasting combo pairs an Ambassadeur 6500 reel with a one-piece 7-foot Ugly Stik rod in medium-heavy power. The reel has a Carbon Matrix hybrid drag, a 6 pin centrifugal brake and a synchronized level wind, so it suits anglers going after catfish with heavier line. It is a straightforward setup for someone who wants a rod and reel matched from the start.
