Quick take

A compact Abu Garcia line cutter scissor with stainless steel blades and a pin-on reel attachment.

This Abu Garcia line cutter pairs a stainless steel scissor blade with a nickel-plated steel pin-on reel, so it clips to a vest or bag strap and stays within reach. At about 3 inches long and just over an ounce, it adds almost no weight to your gear. It suits anglers who want a simple, pocket-sized tool for trimming line and tag ends on the water.

Boat and fishing tackle box organization
Cutting fishing line and split rings during rigging

You prefer larger scissors for heavier line

Strengths

Compact size fits on a reel without bulk
Stainless steel resists rust in saltwater environments
