Quick take
Fast 9.0:1 baitcaster with 10 bearings, 18 lb drag, and EXD braking for high-speed retrieves.
This left-hand-retrieve low profile baitcaster from Abu Garcia runs a fast 9.0:1 gear ratio that picks up about 39 inches of line per crank, which suits topwater and flipping styles where speed matters. It pairs an alloy frame and sideplate with an asymmetrical body, a bowed aluminum handle and an 18 lb Carbon Matrix drag. An IVCB-6 braking system lets you tune casts to your lure and conditions.
Best for
- Fast techniques like flipping and pitching
- Techniques requiring rapid line recovery
