Quick take
A mid-size spinning reel with a compact asymmetrical body and V-rotor for smooth operation.
The Abu Garcia Revo SX in size 40 is the largest spinning reel in its family, with an asymmetrical body that keeps size and balance in check. It pairs a machined aluminum braid-ready spool with a Carbon Matrix drag and nine bearings. Anglers who want a roomier spool for heavier line on bass, walleye or inshore trips will find it a natural fit.
