Quick take

A 7-foot medium-power spinning rod with a fast taper for lure casting and light-tackle techniques.

This is a 7-foot, one-piece spinning rod with medium power and a fast action, a versatile setup for casting lures of roughly 1/4 to 5/8 ounce. It pairs a graphite blank with stainless guides and a split EVA grip, which suits bass anglers working light to mid-weight line.

Best for

  • Casting spinners and crankbaits in freshwater
  • Light-line finesse fishing for panfish and crappie
  • Sensitive fishing in small creeks and ponds

Skip if

  • You fish heavy cover or large bass lures
  • You want a slower, more flexible rod tip

Strengths

  • 24-ton graphite construction balances durability with sensitivity
  • Fast action transmits lure vibrations for better feel
  • Ergonomic reel seat designed for extended use

Trade-offs

  • Medium power limits lure size to 1/4-5/8 oz range
  • Fast action can make small bites harder to detect at distance
  • Not ideal for deep crankbaits or heavy spinnerbaits
