Quick take

Pre-tied carp rigs with curved barbed hooks, braided leaders and rolling swivels, ready to attach your boilies.

This pack of carp hair rigs has curved barb hooks in sizes 2, 4 and 6 on braided line about 9.45 inches long, with a rolling swivel and a protective sleeve on each rig. Three boilie stoppers come with it, and the rigs suit baits of roughly 16 to 18 millimetres, from boilies to pellets and corn. It is aimed at carp anglers who want ready-tied hair rigs for boilie fishing and jigging.

Best for

  • Boilie fishing from the bank or boat
  • Carp in ponds and lakes
  • Anglers learning hair rig technique

Skip if

  • You prefer to tie your own rigs
  • You fish soft plastics or pellets that don't suit hair rigs

Strengths

  • Hair rig design keeps baits secure through the cast
  • Multiple hook sizes cover different carp and conditions
  • Boilie stoppers keep your baits from sliding off
  • Anti-tangle sleeves reduce tangles in high wind

Trade-offs

  • Preset sizes mean limited customization once purchased
  • Shrink tubes are preset and can't be adjusted for rig angle
  • Braided line can absorb water and requires drying between trips
