Quick take
A 3-pack of 100-foot braided rope with 4-arm harnesses for deploying crab and crawfish traps.
This 100-foot braided polyethylene rope, about a quarter inch across, comes as three pieces for crab traps, crawfish traps and hoop nets. Its buoy float is sized to give the rope buoyancy, and the rope resists oil, moisture and marine growth. It suits anglers who work crab, shrimp or crawfish traps from a dock or a boat.
Best for
- Dungeness, blue and rock crab trap fishing
- Crawfish and shrimp pot deployment
- Recreational and commercial crabbing
Skip if
- You use traps with integrated rope systems
- You fish from fast-moving boats
Strengths
- 100 ft length reaches deep crabbing grounds
- Braided polyethylene resists UV and rot
- 4-arm harness load balances across trap
Trade-offs

- Polyethylene degrades faster than nylon in sun
- Traps not included; harness and rope only
