Quick take
Three-way barrel swivels in ten sizes for catfish and surf fishing rigs.
This 50-pack of three-way barrel swivels is sized #2/0 and rated at 140 lb, with a black nickel finish over stainless steel rings and a copper collar. Its three eyes join a main line, a bait leader and a weighted leader in one connector, so a snagged sinker can be lost without losing the bait. It suits catfish rigs and surf setups built around that sinker-loss design.
Best for
- Catfish rigs with weight and bait on separate lines
- Surf and pompano bottom rigs with double hooks
- Jigging and bottom fishing setups
Skip if
- You fish single-hook presentations only
- You need compact, minimal-hardware rigs
Strengths
- Central barrel design allows three-directional rotation without twisting
- Solid copper collar and stainless rings resist corrosion in salt and fresh
- Black nickel finish provides durability and reduced visibility underwater
Trade-offs
- Three-way swivels are bulkier than barrel swivels and more visible on a rig
- Requires specific knot knowledge to rig correctly for catfish or surf fishing
- Braided line tends to wrap around three connection points
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
