Quick take
125 lb clear monofilament with low memory and exceptional tensile and knot strength.
This 125 lb test monofilament is a clear, single-strand line for anglers who need heavy line for big fish or heavy cover. At about 1.30 mm in diameter, it has a medium-soft feel and low memory, which suits larger reels. Choose it when breaking strength matters more than a thin profile.
Best for
- Freshwater and saltwater general fishing
- Anglers seeking reliable line performance
- Multi-species applications
Skip if
- You need specialized line for braided or fluorocarbon
- You fish in stained water where visibility matters less
Strengths
- Ande reputation for strength and durability
- Low memory reduces line twist and curling
- Clear color provides invisibility
Trade-offs
- Heavy 125 lb test limits casting distance
- Monofilament stretches more than braided alternatives
- Visible in clear water compared to fluorocarbon
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
