Quick take
A 4-strand braided PE line with minimal stretch and high tensile strength for accurate casting and sensitive bite detection.
This is a four-strand braided line spun from polyethylene fibers, sold here in a green camouflage finish with a 6 lb breaking strength and 0.10 mm diameter. A thin braid like this suits light spinning setups for freshwater panfish and small gamefish. The camouflage tone is meant to blend into the water and surroundings, and braid in general has very little stretch for a direct feel of the bait.
Best for
- Anglers who fish cover and structure
- Offshore and heavy-duty freshwater fishing
- Detecting subtle strikes
Skip if
- You fish open water exclusively
- You need line with stretch to absorb shock
Strengths
- Near-zero stretch delivers instant sensitivity and hard hooksets
- Ultra-thin diameter casts farther than mono at the same test
- High tensile strength handles large freshwater and saltwater fish
Trade-offs
- No stretch means harsh hook pulls and line breakage on sudden strikes
- Visible to fish and requires a leader in clear water
