Quick take
A large fly box with high-density foam for storing large streamer flies, salmon flies and saltwater patterns, with click-lock closure.
A large polypropylene streamer box that measures 14 by 11 by 3.35 inches and closes with a click lock. The slit foam inside holds long streamers, salmon flies and saltwater patterns, and a rust inhibitor in the foam helps protect the hooks. A flexible handle makes it easy to carry from the truck to the water.
Best for
- Saltwater and big game fly fishing with large flies
- Salmon and steelhead fly storage
- Anglers carrying multiple fly patterns on day trips
Skip if
- You tie small dry flies where a smaller box works better
- You need a completely waterproof sealed box for water submersion
Strengths
- Large 14 x 11-inch footprint holds many large flies
- High-density foam holds flies securely and prevents tangling
- Click-lock closure keeps the box closed during transport
Trade-offs
- Large size makes it bulky to carry on foot
- Rust inhibitor in foam requires occasional cleaning
- Not fully waterproof, just water-resistant
