Quick take
Pre-rigged circle hooks with steel wire leaders and barrel swivels, ready to use for saltwater and freshwater catfish and large species.
This is a 50-piece set of pre-rigged circle hooks, each tied to a steel wire leader with a built-in swivel, in a carbon steel build with a spear point. The wire leader suits toothy fish, and the rigs arrive ready to clip or tie onto your line, which saves time at the bank or on the boat. It fits catfish setups and saltwater trips for species like walleye, trout and shark.
Best for
- Catfish fishing with live bait and cut bait
- Saltwater bottom fishing for large species
- Anglers who want time-saving ready-to-fish rigs
Skip if
- You need smaller hooks for panfish or finesse fishing
- You prefer monofilament leaders that are less visible
Strengths
- Inward-bending circle hook point reduces gut hooking
- 7-strand steel leader resists abrasion and bite-through
- Built-in swivel prevents line twist during casts
Trade-offs
- Steel leader is more visible than monofilament in clear water
- Limited to the 10 size options provided in the pack
- Heavier than monofilament rigs, affecting casting distance
