Quick take
A 5-ounce aerosol spray rendered from crawfish that you spray on lures to add scent for bass and trout.
This 5 oz aerosol fish attractant comes in a shad scent made from concentrated oils of forage species. Spray it onto a lure before you cast, and the compact can slips into a tackle box or backpack. It suits bass and trout anglers who like to match scent to the baitfish in the water.
Best for
- Bass anglers wanting to add scent to hard baits
- Low-visibility presentations where smell helps
- Spray application when brush and weeds are thick
Skip if
- You prefer natural bait or lures without scent
- You want a liquid scent for line treatment
Strengths
- Rendered from real bait, not artificial chemicals
- Aerosol format makes application fast and easy
- Tournament-tested formula from a recognized brand
Trade-offs
- Aerosol can is small and runs out quickly
- Crawfish scent washes off in water after a while
- Bass Assassin brand scent is not as widely tested as PowerBait
