Quick take
Lightweight UPF 50+ gloves with 3/4-finger design that protect hands from UV while maintaining grip and dexterity.
The Altimate is a fingerless sun glove with a classic three-quarter finger length, a UPF 50+ fabric and a synthetic leather palm for holding a rod, reel or paddle. The stretch fabric is light and quick drying, and the open fingertips leave room for tying knots and handling tackle. It suits anglers and kayakers who want sun cover for their hands on long days on the water.
Best for
- Full-day sun exposure
- Kayak fishing where hand protection matters
- Fishing sensitive areas like flats
Skip if
- You fish early morning and evening only
- You prefer full-finger coverage
Strengths
- Synthetic leather palm provides grip even when wet
- 4-way stretch adapts to different hand sizes and movement
Trade-offs
