Quick take
A four-pack of 3.5-inch multi-jointed swimbaits with realistic bluegill coloring and side-to-side swimming action.
A hard-bodied swimbait shaped like a bluegill, built in six jointed sections so it swims with a side-to-side wiggle. It comes as a pack of four and is aimed at bass and pike or musky. A good pick for anglers who want a panfish-style meal to throw around shallow cover.
Best for
- Bass fishing in grass and open water
- Panfish and pike in reservoirs and lakes
- Topwater and shallow-diving presentations
Skip if
- You fish deep water and need a sinking swimbait
- You prefer single-body swimbaits without joints
Strengths
- Six-segment jointed construction creates natural side-to-side swimming action
- Hard ABS plastic resists teeth and handle aggressive strikes
- Realistic bluegill profile triggers reaction bites from bass and pike
- Light 0.85-ounce weight casts easily on spinning reels
Trade-offs
- Multi-jointed design can snag weeds more easily than solid lures
- Joints may eventually fatigue and separate with heavy use

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
