Quick take

An adjustable fly fishing vest sized for youth anglers with mesh pockets for fly boxes and a net attachment point.

A fly fishing vest sized for kids and youths, with adjustable shoulder and waist straps so one size fits a growing angler. It carries 18 pockets, 11 of them zippered, plus small mesh pockets for tippet spools and leaders. A mesh lining and padded back keep it breathable, and a rear D-ring, rod holder loops and a fly patch cover the basics for a young trout or bass angler.

Best for

  • Young anglers learning fly fishing
  • Wading where pocket storage is useful
  • Carrying multiple fly boxes and small tools

Skip if

  • You prefer chest packs over vests
  • You fish saltwater where more serious gear is needed

Strengths

  • Adjustable straps fit most youth body sizes
  • Lightweight mesh lining breathes well
  • Multiple pockets keep flies and tools organized

Trade-offs

  • Sized specifically for younger or smaller anglers
  • 11 zippered pockets may feel excessive for simple fishing
  • Mesh lining is not waterproof for wet wading
