Quick take
A 12 inch flexible trolling tube with stainless hardware and 6/0 hook for slow-speed striped bass trolling.
A 24-inch flexible trolling tube in solid white with a 6/0 hook, made for striped bass. Its longer body gives a bigger profile than the shorter sizes in this line.
Best for
- Striped bass and large saltwater species on slow trolling patterns
- Anglers trolling at 2-3 knots behind boats in bays and estuaries
- Slow-retrieve presentations where lure action comes from the troll, not the angler
Skip if
- You fish at fast trolling speeds above 4 knots
- You cast lures; trolling tubes require passive rod positioning
Strengths
- Flexible polymer construction provides life-like motion at slow speeds without active retrieval
- Thru-wire design with stainless hardware maximizes durability in saltwater
- 260 lb ball bearing swivel prevents line twist during extended trolling sessions
Trade-offs
- Flexible tube design does not allow shaping or tuning like molded tube options
- Slow trolling speed requirement limits application to patient presentations
- Heavy 1 oz weight requires medium-heavy trolling rods for proper feel

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
