Quick take
Crystal-colored braided line with three times the strength of monofilament in the same diameter.
Best for
- Spinning reel spooling for extended casting range
- Clear water fishing where line color is less visible
- Anglers needing thin-diameter strength
Skip if
- You prefer monofilament's stretch and shock absorption
- You need leader line for saltwater fishing
Strengths
- Incredibly strong for diameter allows compact spool designs
- Crystal color nearly invisible to fish in clear water
- No line memory for consistent, tangle-free casting
Trade-offs
- Braided line can be slippery on reel spool without backing
- 125 yard spool insufficient for many casting situations
