Quick take

Miniature 1 in scented minnows in gel with smelt flavor, rechargeable for panfish and ice fishing year round.

Berkley's 1 inch Smelt minnows are soft plastic baits made to stand in for live minnows, sized for panfish and perch. Each of the two 2.1 ounce jars can be restored by returning used baits to the attractant, so the minnows can be reused between trips. Anglers working small offerings for panfish, trout or bass from a bobber or through the ice will find a compact option here.

About this type

A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.

Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.

Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
