Quick take
Liquid attractant spray that enhances bait and lures with enticing fish scents and flavors.
This is the shrimp-scented version of Berkley's Gulp! Alive! attractant, sold in an 8-ounce trigger bottle. The nozzle throws either a stream or a spray, so you can coat a soft bait or a live offering in a few seconds before it goes in the water. It is made for saltwater anglers who want to add scent and taste to what is already on the hook.
Best for
- Slow-moving bait presentations
- Deep-water fishing where visual cues fade
- Situations where taste triggers strikes
Skip if
- You fish only clear shallow water with active lures
- You prefer purely visual baits and lures
Strengths
- Immediate scent cloud expands your strike zone
- Available in multiple species-specific scents
- Works on soft plastics, hard baits, and live fish
Trade-offs
- Effectiveness decreases with strong water currents
- Spray nozzle can clog with repeated use
- Scent dispersal is inconsistent in heavy wind
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
