Quick take
Three-inch leech imitation in black that replaces live leeches for durable saltwater presentations.
This 3-inch black leech is a soft bait made to stand in for live leeches. It is infused with Gulp! scent that disperses in the water, so the bait adds smell and taste to its natural swimming motion. Anglers rig it on a jighead or under a float for walleye and bass.
Best for
- Panfish and walleye jigging in lakes
- Winter ice fishing when live bait is scarce
- Multi-day trips where live bait spoils
Skip if
- You prefer the movement of live leeches
- You fish species that need larger baits
Strengths
- Soft plastic construction lasts longer than live leech
- Realistic presentation and color fool cautious fish
- Pint jar contains many baits for value
Trade-offs
- Stiff plastic does not move naturally compared to live leech
- Scent disperses faster in warm water
- Black color limits visibility in murky water

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
