Quick take

Shoulder bag designed to organize and transport up to 16 jars of bait with built-in storage for tools.

This soft bait folder keeps 16 standard jars, such as PowerBait dough bait and Gulp jars, organized in one bag. It suits trout and panfish anglers who want everything in one place on the way to the water. A carrying handle and removable shoulder strap make it easy to haul, and an internal pliers holder and side grommets for airflow round it out.

Best for

  • Carrying PowerBait and Gulp jar baits to the water
  • Keeping bait organized and separate during fishing trips
  • Anglers who use multiple bait types and tackle

Skip if

  • You prefer a tackle box for lures and hard baits
  • You fish with live minnows requiring more aeration

Strengths

  • Grommets on sides improve airflow and reduce bait odor
  • Shoulder strap and handle provide hands-free carrying options
  • Fits inside larger tackle bags for organized transport

Trade-offs

  • Each jar still needs to be removed and opened to access bait
  • Not insulated, so bait can warm on hot days
  • The folder takes up bag space even when partially full
