Quick take

A 6.25-inch finesse worm with PowerBait taste formula for slow bottom presentations.

Best for

  • Drop-shot and shaky-head finesse rigs
  • Texas rigs in heavy cover
  • Sight-fishing to pressured bass in clear water

Skip if

  • You prefer larger creature baits for pike
  • You use unscented worms for pristine water

Strengths

  • PowerBait formula increases bite retention 18x over plain plastic
  • Slender profile works on light weights and small hooks
  • Long body allows multiple rigging options

Trade-offs

  • Taste formula fades after multiple fish contacts
  • 6.25 inches is specialized for finesse, not versatile
  • Color selection matters in clear water

About this type

A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.

Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.

Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
