Quick take
Scented dough bait with visible glitter and glow formula for low-light trout fishing.
This is a 1.75 ounce tub of floating dough bait in the Mallow Glow Red Fleck color. Glitter flecks catch light underwater, and the glow-in-the-dark formula keeps it visible around dawn, dusk and cloudy days. It is a simple pick for trout anglers who fish with a floating bait off the bottom.
Best for
- Trout stocking ponds and streams in early morning or evening
- Bobber fishing where visibility of bait attracts strikes
- Cloudy-water fishing where scent matters most
Skip if
- You prefer natural-looking baits; glitter is visible to trout
- You fish deep or cover; dough gets swept away by current
Strengths
- Glitter simulates roe or small aquatic prey
- Glow formula works in low-light or turbid water
- PowerBait formula triggers strikes even in heavily fished areas
Trade-offs
- Glitter visibility may spook selective trout in clear water
- Small 1.75 oz package depletes quickly over multiple sessions
- Dough consistency requires frequent replacement as it hardens
