Quick take

Four-and-a-half inch soft worm with PowerBait MaxScent formula that releases a scent cloud to attract fish at varying retrieve speeds.

Best for

  • Bass fishing across shallow and deep structures
  • Anglers using finesse presentations and Texas rigs
  • Waters where scent triggers fish response

Skip if

  • You prefer silent approaches without attractants
  • You fish extremely clear water where scent adds little

Strengths

  • Supercharged scent field attracts fish from distance
  • Thick body rigging supports Texas rigging and other techniques

About this type

A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.

Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.

Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
