Quick take
A 42 in pre-tied walleye rig with Indiana spinner blade and double hooks, rigged for minnows, leeches, or crawler baits.
This is a ready-tied walleye rig built on 42 inches of Trilene XT monofilament, with an Indiana blade in chartreuse with a black stripe and a two-hook spear point setup. It suits live bait such as minnows, leeches and half crawlers, so a walleye angler can tie on and start fishing. The blade adds flash and vibration behind a slow-moving bait.
Best for
- Trolling walleye with live bait
- Slow presentations near bottom structure
- Anglers who prefer ready-to-fish rigs
Skip if
- You prefer standard spinner rigs without the blade
- Your target fish are pike or musky
Strengths
- Berkley Trilene XT line resists abrasion and holds knots reliably
- Double hook configuration holds live bait securely
- Indiana blade provides flash and vibration to attract walleye
Trade-offs
- 42 in length limits close-range presentations
- Pre-tied construction may not match personal rigging preferences
- Blade attracts unwanted species like catfish
