Quick take
A 3-foot cast net with tight mesh for capturing small live bait and shad.
The Betts Buddy is a three-foot cast net with 3/8-inch monofilament mesh, made for anglers who throw bait from a dock or shoreline. Coated iron weights along the edge total about three-quarters of a pound per square foot. Its knots are double tied and sealed with epoxy, and it comes packed in a utility box.
