Quick take
A 10-foot cast net with 3/8-inch mesh for catching live bait in shallow freshwater and coastal areas.
This Betts Old Salt is a round monofilament cast net in a 5 ft size with a fine 3/8 inch mesh, the kind of net anglers throw to gather small baitfish. It arrives packed in a reusable bucket with how-to instructions, which suits someone learning to throw. Rinse it with fresh water and let it dry in the shade after each trip.
