Quick take
A rechargeable aerator with 4 speeds and 36-hour battery life for keeping live bait oxygenated in a bucket.
This small rechargeable bait aerator keeps a bucket of minnows or shiners bubbling without a pile of spare batteries. It has four speed settings, so you can run it gently for a few baits or turn it up for a full bucket, and its oversized air stone sinks to the bottom to spread bubbles. The glow-in-the-dark shell makes it easy to find on a dark dock or boat, and it charges over USB-C.
Best for
- Night fishing trips with live bait
- Keeping minnows and shrimp alive in a bucket
- Extended trips where you can't replace bait
Skip if
- You use fresh bait once and discard it
- You prefer battery-powered to rechargeable
Strengths
- 36-hour battery means you charge once per week
- USB-C charging is faster and more universal than older plugs
- Glow feature helps you find the pump in low light
Trade-offs
- Rechargeable battery degrades over time and will need replacement
- Oversized air stone is good but increases water volume needed
- Water-resistant does not mean waterproof if fully submerged
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
- Techniques
- Live bait
