Quick take

Rubber fish handling gloves with textured grip to hold slimy fish and bait securely without slipping.

These pull-on black rubber gloves from BIG WORM FISHING have textured palms and fingers meant to help you hold slippery fish, bait and line. A soft lining keeps them comfortable, and the ambidextrous cut slips on either hand. The one-size shape is aimed at large to extra-large hands, which suits anglers who want cleaner hands when unhooking, handling bait or filleting.

Best for

  • Removing hooks and handling slippery fish
  • Cleaning and filleting fish
  • Handling live bait like worms and shrimp

Skip if

  • You prefer bare hands
  • You have sensitivity to rubber

Strengths

  • Textured surface on palms and fingers prevents slipping
  • Soft rubber lining provides comfort during extended use
  • Protects your hands from fishy slime and odor

Trade-offs

  • One size means gloves may not fit all hand sizes perfectly
  • Rubber can tear if caught on sharp hooks or fins
  • Gloves retain odor even after washing
