Quick take

A downrigger quick-release clip with steel leader for trolling at depth without putting strain on the main line.

This two-clip pack from Bimini Lures gives downrigger trollers a pair of quick-release line clips, each with a 12-inch wire leader. The clips are corrosion resistant and padded at the pin, so they grip the line without cutting into it. They hold the line firmly under loads up to 8 ounces, a handy spare set for anglers trolling deep for salmon, trout or walleye.

Best for

Trolling in deep water for lake trout and walleye
Anglers with downrigger systems
Multi-line trolling setups

Skip if

You fish shallow water or cast lures
