Quick take
A size 5/0 offset weedless hook with a locking spring and adjustable stopper for rigging big soft plastics without hanging on weeds.
The BKK Titanrider in size 5/0 is a weedless-style hook for rigging big swimbaits, paddle tails and worms. A spring keeper and an adjustable silicone stopper hold the soft plastic in place through the cast and slide down when a fish strikes. Its deep throat and needle point suit anglers rigging larger soft baits for bass and similar freshwater or inshore fish.
Best for
- Flipping and pitching soft plastics into heavy cover
- Bass, pike and saltwater species in grass and wood
- Anglers who fish weedless rigs with large baits
Skip if
- You fish open water with small soft plastics
- You need a straight shank hook for certain rigs
Strengths
- Locking spring and silicon stopper hold large baits securely
- Deep throat design penetrates farther into the mouth on hookset
- Super Slide coating reduces friction for better penetration
Trade-offs
- Size 5/0 is large and best for big baits only
- Weedless design limits the hook eye opening for line tying
- Spring mechanism may fail after extended use
