Quick take
A waterproof backpack with rod holders designed for anglers who hike to remote water.
This BLISSWILL fishing backpack is built for anglers who walk to the water and want gear on their back instead of in hand. It includes a rod holder, and this version comes in a digital camouflage pattern without a tackle box. It is a pack for carrying tackle and a rod on the bank or trail.
Best for
- Wading anglers on multi-hour trips
- Kayak fishing where gear must stay dry
- Hiking to small streams with gear on your back
Skip if
- You have multiple tackle boxes and need one central organizer
- You fish only from a boat or shore with easy access
Strengths
- Waterproof material keeps tackle and line dry in rain or spray
- Rod holders keep fly rods and spinning rods accessible
- Backpack straps distribute weight evenly for long walks
Trade-offs
- Backpack format limits access to tackle while standing in water
- Waterproof material can trap moisture inside on warm days
- Rod holders can create imbalance if rods are uneven in weight
