Quick take
A 2.25-inch twin-tail soft lure designed for crappie, fished alone or tipped with a live minnow.
Designed for crappie, this 2.25-inch Bobby Garland soft plastic is built to hold a live minnow on a jig. Its split tail covers the hook point, which keeps the minnow in place so the bait keeps running true after a nibble. It can be fished on its own or with a minnow, and it can also be paired with a trailer for a bigger profile. It suits anglers who fish crappie with live bait on a jig.
Best for
- Crappie fishing in ponds and reservoirs

Strengths

- Small profile matches the forage crappie eat
- Works with or without a live minnow tip

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
