Style: Rod Holder

Quick take

A 360-degree adjustable rod holder that mounts to 90-degree boat track systems for secure fishing rod storage.

This rod holder from Brocraft is made for the 90 degree gunnel track found on Versatrack, Lund, Ranger and Lowe boats. Its base slides along the rail, so you can move it or take it off without fuss. The body is fiberglass-reinforced polymer with a rail mount and a rotating head, which suits anglers who rig rods on a boat deck.

Best for

  • Trolling and multi-rod setups on modern center console boats
  • Quick repositioning while fishing
  • Anglers who fish alone and need hands-free rod holders

Skip if

  • Your boat uses traditional rod holders
  • You fish small kayaks or canoes

Strengths

  • 360-degree rotation positions rod to any angle
  • Track rails allow moving holder without tools
  • Durable polymer resists salt spray and UV degradation

Trade-offs

  • Requires specific track system compatibility
  • Track and hardware add weight
  • Moving the holder while hooked fish can be difficult
