Quick take
6 in ABS hard plastic glide bait with replaceable tail and Mustad Triple Grip hooks for largemouth and smallmouth bass.
The 6-inch Bucca Trick Shad in Pearl Bone is a hard ABS glide bait that weighs about 1-5/8 ounces. It carries Mustad Triple Grip trebles on swivel hangers, and the tail can be swapped out. A natural pale finish like this suits anglers throwing big swimbaits for bass.
Best for
- Large largemouth bass around shallow weeds
- Smallmouth on rocky bottom
- Nighttime topwater presentations
Skip if
- You fish small panfish; lure is too large
- You need minimal water disturbance
Strengths
- Hard plastic body glides on slack line for S-pattern action
- Mustad Triple Grip hooks resist bending on large bass
- Replaceable tail extends lure life and allows color changes
Trade-offs
- Large size limits casting distance on light tackle
- ABS hard plastic can crack on impact with rocks
- Aggressive hooks may foul weeds in shallow cover

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
