Quick take

Round 6 oz lead sinkers with brass eye for easy rigging in salmon and steelhead trolling.

The Bullet Weights CB600 is a 6-ounce cannonball sinker packed 13 to a box, aimed at anglers who fish for salmon and steelhead. Its round body lets it drop straight with little resistance, and the brass eye at the top makes it quick to rig. Trolling anglers can use it as a straightforward weight for a line that needs a heavy, streamlined sinker.

Best for

  • Salmon and steelhead trolling with downriggers
  • Bottom presentations where sinker needs to drop straight
  • Anglers who want traditional lead weights

Skip if

  • You need smaller sinkers; 6 oz is heavy
  • You prefer non-lead alternatives

Strengths

  • Round shape drops straight down with minimal drift
  • Brass eye simplifies rigging and rig changes
  • 6 oz weight works well for deep presentations

Trade-offs

  • 6 oz is heavy; overkill for most panfish and trout
  • Round shape rolls along bottom; some snag loss expected
  • Lead material; not an environmentally safe option
