Quick take

An 80-count bag of 1-ounce lead egg sinkers for bottom fishing catfish and other species.

This is a box of 80 lead egg sinkers, each weighing 1 ounce. The smooth, rounded shape lets bait slide along the bottom and through weeds and rocks with less hanging up. It suits catfish rigs and general bottom fishing where you need to get bait down deep.

Best for

  • Catfish rig setups with multiple sinkers
  • Bottom fishing over weeds and rocks without snagging
  • Anglers who go through sinkers regularly

Skip if

  • You fish light line requiring smaller weights
  • You prefer reusable or removable sinkers

Strengths

  • 80 count provides sinkers for the entire season without resupply
  • Egg shape glides through light weeds and grass without excessive snagging
  • Lead material provides dense weight for efficient casting

Trade-offs

  • 1-ounce size is heavy for light line presentations
  • Large quantity means storage space in tackle box
  • Lead sinkers require disposal consideration at end of life
