Quick take
2 oz painted bottom bouncers that lift live bait off the lake bottom for walleye and perch.
This Bullet Weights LBBP2-6 pack holds six 2-ounce bottom bouncers painted chartreuse, built for anglers who run a wire-arm rig to keep bait just off the bottom. The wire arm rests on the bottom only at its tip while the bait trails on a leader above it, which fits walleye fishing across changing depths. Matching the weight to the water, about one ounce for every ten feet, helps keep the line near vertical.
Best for
- Walleye presentations off soft bottom
- Live bait rigs trolled or drifted slowly
- Lifting presentations slightly above bottom structure
Skip if
- You need to fish heavy current; choose heavier weights
- You fish rocky bottom where bouncers snag
Strengths
- Bottom bouncer design keeps bait in the strike zone above the lake floor
- Painted finish is visible and helps with visibility when organizing tackle
- Popular weight and configuration trusted by walleye anglers
Trade-offs
- Bottom bouncers snag on rocks and wood more than inline weights
- Paint can chip with hard use on rocky terrain
- Limited to walleye and bait fishing; not suited to lure casting
