Quick take
A padded rod case sized for a single 7-foot spinning or casting rod with the reel attached, with interior pockets and a shoulder strap.
This gray and olive case carries one two-piece spinning or baitcasting rod of 7 feet or shorter with the reel still attached. A rigid PVC tube protects the rod, and a padded, zippered reel chamber gives easy access to the gear. A large outside zippered pocket, a shoulder strap and a web handle make it a practical pick for travel, boating or kayak trips.
Best for
- Traveling by air or vehicle
- Protecting rods between fishing trips
- Organizing gear in a boat or vehicle
Skip if
- You need cases for multiple rods
- You fish with rods longer than 7 feet
Strengths
- Reel stays attached for faster rigging
- Padded reel chamber protects your reel
- Saltwater-rated zippers and nylon
Trade-offs
