Quick take

Sixty EVA hook covers that protect treble hook points from dulling and prevent tangling in tackle boxes.

This pack holds 60 red and blue EVA caps that slip over treble hooks in sizes 4 through 10. The hollow design keeps the points from digging into other lures or the tackle box. Covering the hooks also helps keep lures from tangling and spares your hands, clothes and seats from a stray point on the way to the next spot.

Best for

  • Organizing multi-hook lures without tangling
  • Protecting hooks from damage during storage and transport
  • Safety when fishing with children

Skip if

  • You use primarily single-hook lures
  • You want a rigid storage solution; covers are soft

Strengths

  • EVA material is durable and does not crack after repeated use
  • The hollow design keeps hook points sharp by preventing contact
  • Sixty covers provide plenty for an entire tackle collection

Trade-offs

  • The covers slip off if not seated firmly on the hook
  • Fitting the right cover size takes trial and error
  • The loose covers are easy to lose or mix up between hook sizes
