Quick take
PVC chest waders with a flexible membrane and durable water-repellent finish for saltwater and freshwater wading.
A camouflage chest wader built from a nylon shell over a PVC membrane, with taped seams and layered knee reinforcement. It carries an external zippered pocket, an internal pocket, a chest pocket and five D-rings for hanging gear. The adjustable shoulder straps come off, so the waders can be worn as waist-high pants on warmer days.
Best for
- Cold-water wade fishing in rivers and flats
- Saltwater and freshwater applications
- Extended wade trips in harsh conditions
Skip if
- You need waders for warm water; these are designed for cold
- You want minimal bulk or weight
Strengths
- PVC membrane and DWR finish block water effectively
- Twice the tear resistance of comparable waders
- D-rings on chest and waist let you attach gear
Trade-offs
- PVC construction is stiffer initially than neoprene or breathable
- Boot lifespan is design-dependent; seam durability varies
- Heavier weight than breathable waders for the same protection
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
