Quick take
A universal line release that works with mono, braided, and fluorocarbon line for downrigger trolling.
This Cannon universal line release clips a fishing line to a downrigger weight and lets go when a fish strikes. Two adjustment points set the tension from 2 to 22 pounds, so it suits slow trolling with live bait as well as light-biting walleyes. It works with mono, fluorocarbon, braid and wire in fresh or salt water, and one hand is enough to adjust it.
