Quick take
100-yard spool of 200 lb clear monofilament leader with crimp sleeves for quick rig assembly.
This is a leader kit built around 100 yards of clear 1.4mm monofilament in a heavy 200-pound class, aimed at anglers rigging big lures and heavy terminal setups. It comes with 25 aluminum crimp sleeves and 5 spring loop protectors, so the pieces for making crimped leader loops are in one package. The clear color keeps the leader low-profile in the water.
Best for
- Building custom leader sections quickly
- Saltwater rigging with solid connections
- Anglers who tie their own lure rigs
Skip if
- You prefer pre-made leader segments
- You fish exclusively light line
Strengths
- Clear monofilament is less visible to fish than colored line
- 25 crimps and loop protectors provide rig flexibility
- 200 lb test handles large saltwater and freshwater species
Trade-offs
- Manual crimping requires practice for consistent strength
- 100 yards is large spool not ideal for light-tackle anglers
- Aluminum crimps can slip if crimper technique is incorrect
