Quick take
A 3-pack of 4-inch multi-jointed swimbaits with 6 articulating segments, 3-D eyes and treble hooks that mimic flexing baitfish movement.
Best for
- Casting for bass, pike and musky that hunt larger profiles
- Trolling at varying speeds where segmented body bends naturally
- Targeting walleye and trout in lakes where realism triggers strikes
Skip if
- You fish very clear water under 10 feet; the large profile spooks easily
- You cast in dense cover; treble hooks snag constantly
Strengths
- Six segments create realistic flex on steady or erratic retrieve
- 3-D eyes add depth perception when bass inspect the lure
- Two treble hooks provide hookup security on strike
Trade-offs
- 4 inches is large and exhausting to cast all day
- Treble hooks snag frequently in weeds, wood and rocky cover
- Internal rattle adds noise that can spook cautious fish in clear water

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
