Quick take

Soft plastic octopus skirts in a range of sizes and colors for saltwater trolling.

This 7.8-inch hoochie octopus skirt comes in a 22-pack of green, non-luminous skirts, so an angler can rig several at once. Its length suits larger trolled presentations for salmon and trout. Run it on a leader behind a flasher with the trailing hook at the tentacle tips.

About this type

A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.

Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.

Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
