Quick take
Injection-molded rack that holds up to 10 rods with reels attached, mounts overhead or on walls at any angle.
This ColdTuna rod sitter is a molded ABS plastic rack that holds up to 10 rods with the reels still attached. It mounts to a ceiling or a wall, and the 90 degree bend at the top lets it sit on most flat surfaces. A shock cord locks the rods in place, which suits a garage, boat or RV where space is tight. Units can sit side by side to extend the row.
Best for
- Organizing multiple rods in a garage or boat
- Saving floor space with overhead mounting
- Keeping rods accessible but secure
Skip if
- You need to protect rods from dust or UV; consider a rod case
- You prefer portable storage; this is fixed-mount
Strengths
- 90-degree bend at the top provides rigid support for heavy rods
- Multiple units can link together for unlimited storage capacity
- Mounts to any flat surface without special fasteners
Trade-offs
- Requires drilling to install wall or ceiling anchors
- Best suited for permanent installation, not temporary setups
- Does not protect rods from dust or weather
