Quick take
Jointed swimbaits with realistic S-shaped swimming action and strong treble hooks.
This is a six-piece set of multi-jointed swimbaits, each about 3.9 inches long with a segmented body that swims with a side-to-side, fish-like wiggle. The slow-sinking bodies carry #6 treble hooks and suit anglers working bass, trout, crappie, walleye and pike. It comes with a case, so the whole set stays together in the tackle bag.
Best for
- Shallow weed beds and structure
- Moderate current areas in rivers
- Searching for aggressive bass and pike
Skip if
- Dense cover; treble hooks snag too easily
- Sight fishing where unnatural profile spooks fish
Strengths
- Seven-segment body mimics natural baitfish S-curve swimming motion
- Gravity ball increases casting distance and emits fish-attracting vibrations
- 3D eyes and pearl coating reflect light to attract distant fish
Trade-offs
- Treble hooks tangle easily in weeds and wood
- Gravity ball adds complexity; can fail and reduce effectiveness
- Size and weight limit use on ultralight tackle

- Freshwater
- Saltwater

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
