Quick take
Classic 7-1/2 in soft worm for rigging on Texas rigs, Carolina rigs and shakey heads.
The Culprit Surf C720 Original is a 7.5-inch soft plastic worm in Original Black, made for bass anglers who want a straight-tail profile. Its kicking tail moves on the fall and the retrieve. Each pack holds ten worms, so the same bait is ready to rig in several spots.
Best for
- Bass fishing with Texas or Carolina rigs
- Pitching into shallow cover
- All-around presentations in ponds and lakes
Skip if
- You need a worm smaller than 5 inches
- You fish exclusively for panfish
Strengths
- Traditional straight tail has been proven on bass for decades
- Durable plastic holds up to repeated strikes and rigging
- Works on all soft-plastic hook styles
Trade-offs

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
